FOOD2050
FOOD2050 is a Zurich-based start-up with the aim of reducing global warming through sustainable eating habits. In this project, I was responsible for the UX design in the backend and for project management during the MVP.
The admin dashboard is the cockpit for the host. The sales figures and the impact of the dishes sold on the climate are clearly presented here.
Food2050 started in December 2021 with an MVP in the canteen at Irchel University. The roll-out took place in spring 2022.

Mobile devices
The information on the selected menu can be scanned using a QR code and is immediately available for the customers. The climate impact of the chosen dish is prominently displayed. Calorie values, allergens and ingredients are also displayed.
Ticker
The ticker is the central information board at the POS. Here, customers can see how their current consumption is affecting the climate.
There is an individual ticker for each participating restaurant. The system is designed so that this can be configured quickly and easily.
Admin Dashboard
The backend was realized on the basis of the open source software React Admin from marmelabs. The Nivo library was used to include the diagrams.

The project was awarded a BOSW Gold in the category Innovation.
We also received a BOSW Silver in the category Public Value.
