UI Rebrush

PatientenReport

Patients can use the PatientReport product to validate the data of their own intervention. The tool actively contributes to transparency in the healthcare sector. At the same time, hospitals can conduct patient surveys in the form of PROMs (Patient Related Outcome Measurements) to gather the doctors’ views. The existing front end was redesigned to be more user-friendly and the simultaneous migration to a more modern framework was managed.

The project in detail

The PatientenReport product was launched in 2009 and the UI had remained unchanged since then. The customer wanted a more contemporary and easier-to-use appearance. At the same time, the front-end technology was to be migrated so that the software not only performs faster, but can also be expanded with additional functionalities.

The existing elements and workflows were kept as far as possible in order to keep the costs and implementation time as low as possible. A wizard was provided for validation in order to keep the information density clearer for patients.

At the same time, the customer carried out a re-branding to replace the technical product name on the user side with a simpler term for private individuals. Thus, “PublicDatabase” became “Patientenreport”.

Interaction Design/styleguide

The existing look and feel has been carefully modernized. We have retained and harmonized the existing colors.

The front-end elements have been standardized, the title hierarchy has been standardized and the Arial font has been replaced by Adjumed’s corporate font.
