PROM Administration

Regular patient surveys – known as PROMs (Patient Outcome Report Measurements) – at regular intervals before and after a surgery are becoming increasingly important. Especially since many surgeries are now only performed on an outpatient basis, i.e. without hospitalization.
I have developed an interface for the administration of such PROM surveys.

Create PROM modal
Patient with multiple procedures and associated PROM status
Patient with an intervention and associated PROM status

When collecting PROMs, it is important for users to have a clear overview and to make as few and quick entries as possible.

The PROM cockpit provides a quick overview of current surveys and upcoming follow-ups. These can be triggered with a single click.

Requirements

PROMs are completed directly at the hospital wherever possible. For this purpose, the patient receives a tablet on which his or her case has already been preloaded by the medical staff. He fills out the questionnaire and then returns the tablet.

Follow-up checks, e.g. six months after the surgical procedure, can be carried out directly online. The patient receives a request by e-mail with an anonymized link that leads directly to their questionnaire.
